VideoPresenter: Video Editing Made Easy

CiSRA's VideoPresenterTM software is the fast and easy way to turn video clips from a digital video camera into fun and professional-looking home movies.

Utilising CiSRA-developed MovieThemeTM templates, VideoPresenter allows automatic addition of titles, transitions, music, and video effects. Printing still images directly from the video clip is also possible through CiSRA's PhotoRecord automatic page layout software.

Canon Australia now ships this wholly locally researched and developed software application with consumer digital video cameras in the Oceania region.

Automatic Home Movie Producer

VideoPresenter's user-friendly interface allows:
  • Simple importing of video clips from digital video cameras using Windows XP and an IEEE1394 DV port on a home computer - allowing digital video quality movie making.

  • Automatic assembly of video clips into a finished movie ready for sharing with friends and family.

  • Support of .BMP and .JPEG file types allowing still image slide show creation. Still images can also be combined with video clips, and user-designed title slides can be included.
Export Options

VideoPresenter has multiple export options, so the finished movie can be saved in the ideal format for tape, CD or disk, posting to the web, or sending via email. DVC Format allows finished movies to be copied back to tape at full digital video quality.

The Technology behind VideoPresenter

VideoPresenter uses automatic video editing technology developed at CiSRA. Each MovieTheme has, embedded within it, expert knowledge for editing a specific style of movie. This knowledge includes editing rhythm, speed, types of transitions and use of effects, as well as music and titles. The MovieTheme is then used by VideoPresenter to select appropriate sequences of video to present as a movie.

VideoPresenter uses CiSRA's OpenScreen rendering technology providing a highly-interactive user interface, and CiSRA's PhotoRecord product for printing from the movie.
