PosterArtist: Creating Posters Made Easy

PosterArtist is a graphics authoring tool specifically targeted for general office use in the design of posters, banners and signage, for output on Canon's large format printers (44 inch W8400 and 24 inch W6400). Due to its template-based poster creation process, PosterArtist allows users to quickly design and print posters in only a few steps.

Additionally PosterArtist comes complete with over 1,000 royalty-free images and clipart and over 200 poster templates, helping users of all levels create and design professional-looking posters, banners and signage with ease. PosterArtist reduces the need for expensive drawing packages and costly third party clip art and image libraries.

The Technology behind PosterArtist

Two CiSRA technologies, OpenPage and OpenScreen, provide PosterArtist with its unique and distinctive capabilities.

OpenScreen allows instant and smooth animation when resizing and repositioning images on screen, while OpenPage's key features add sophisticated graphics and compositing capabilities, low memory usage and fast printing.

Additionally, OpenPage uses a consistent graphics model in which all graphics elements have an alpha channel (or transparency plane) which allows designers to create very sophisticated artwork effects.
